Proud, Happy, Sad, Feelings

So, SYF was okay. i must say, it wasn't really our best performance. But it's the juniors first time, most them will go through it in another 2 years time. I'm sure they will be fully prepared by then. I am proud of them, really. We have gone far...Soon the sec 4s and 5s will be stepping down. Then it will be their turn to lead the band. I'm sure everyone is responsible in leading the band and not just the seniors. Orchid Park Wind Orchestra is like my third family. Through our ups and downs, we'll still stick by each other. Whatever results we are getting even if it is COC, everyone will be be proud. well, we did it right? no point regretting or feeling sad now. Our fate will be known tomorrow or Thursday. We will know the results together as a band. Well like what they said, not all luck can be with us right? Alison, don't be sad...hahaha You are a great trumpeter. I mean we wow-ed everyone during Speech day, amd even Mrs Tan was getting emotional and getting the chills while we were playing. She told us the GOH really likes the band performance. That piece of news breally brighten our day yesterday. It was a motivation for us. Too bad we didn't get the same reaction yesterday, or maybe we did. Well we don't know. But the set piece this year is really hard. It is simple to play but all the emotions we had to put in while playing it. wow. hahaha it's a one of a kind and a unique piece.

Well whatever happens, I am always glad I am a part of OPWO.

last SYF

Hey guys! Big day tmr! Our SYF will be tmr....Band number 105. wow. Time really flies huh. I still remember how we are struggling to play Sarabande and Symphonic Episode One. I still remember when I was in Sec two playing dor SYF too but never understood hpw important SYF really is until I go on stage. I am going on the same stage again with my bandmates tomorrow, 8th April 2013, Monday at 12.30pm. Well, one thing I can say we really did well for speech day this year. People went home remembering the tune of Gangnam Style and I really saw people enjoying our performance and they are all standing and clapping around. Great finale we had I can see most of our band members faces shinning bright and feeling proud and happy about what we have done. Well, some don't cause they know it wasn't their best performance. I just hope the.best for tomorrow. Its pur last SYF for sec 4 and 5s. I know we wanna leave tgis band feeling proud and happy with what we've achieve. But whatever results we got, I am  still proud to be a OPWO band member and being a Euphonist. Well, no one actually knows what instrument I'm playing but it's okay. People always thought I'm from Dance or Art Club. Meh. No. Hahaha! If can I woild be really happy and overjoy if band gets COD. Well if we do get it, we have prove other CCAs wrong. We are not only noisy piece of sht people woth big annoying instruments to carry around but we are Musically talented people who most of us have no.idea or even background music when we joined the band. But we are all aiming for a COA. That is the least we can get. I jist want our band to really put in all those few months hardwork and really feel and put all thier hard work and soul into the music tomorrow. Feel like it will be our last time playing this song. Well except for OPus. Hahaha. Let's just hope and do our best. Really I will pray for everyone's health tomorrow and hopefully none of us will get stage fright.
